Elizabeth and Alexander's English Tea Room Here is just a sample of what you'll find when you visit us. ~ ~ Elizabeth's Tea Small scone with trimmings, fresh fruit, tea cookies, lemon/lime tartlet, lemon tea cake and a pot of tea. Alexander's Tea Assortment of tea sandwiches which includes chicken spread, salmon and cucumber, dill and cream cheese, fresh fruit, crumpet with lemon curd, shortbreads and a pot of tea. Children's Tea Lemon curd and raspberry jam tea sandwiches, Fresh fruit, shortbreads and a pot of hot chocolate. Afternoon Tea Scone, crumpet, strawberry jam, whipped cream, lemon curd, lemon tea cake, lemon tartlet, shortbreads, chocolate raspberry rum tort, fresh fruit, tea sandwiches: cream cheese and cucumber, chicken salad, smoked salmon, and a pot of tea. ~ ~ Maple Pecan Oatmeal Nuggets of pecan and real maple syrup. Garnished with freah fruit, brown sugar and cream. Crumpet. Quiche Thick buttery crust, laden with bacon, parmesan, eggs and cream. Garnished with seasonal fruit. Belgian Waffle Marbled with pecans and cinnamon. Smothered with apple compote and a generous helping of whipped cream. Garnished with fresh fruit. ~ ~ Chicken Cashew Salad A splendid mix of Chicken, pineapple, water chestnut, grapes, cashews and celery bathed in a creamy curry dressing with a croissant on the side. Windsor Torte Smoked ham, fireroasted bell peppers, eggs, spinach and smoked swiss layered in a brillant puff pastry. European greens with zeasty vinegarette. Ploughman's Lunch Leafy greens with vinegarette. French bread complimented with our two fine pates: smoked salmon and three cheese with a flair of mango chutney. ~ ~ |
